4- Crop Tool is used to cut off a portion of your photo.

5- Lasso Tool is used to select a specific part of the photo.

6-Text Tool is used to allows you to add text to your image.

7-  You push the buttons Command-Z on Mac and CTRL-Z on a Pc to undo the last mistake you made.

8- To undo more than one mistake you need to go to Window then History menu.

9- To rotate an image you need to go to the Image menu and select Image Rotation.

10- You can press Return (Enter, on a Pc) or ESC key if you want change it before you make the crop.

11-We are telling Photoshop which dimensions the image should result in after your crop when you  resize the image as you are cropping.

12- The correct resolution for a newsletters and newspapers is 150

13- The correct resolution for magazine is 150 or 175

Photoshop Notes

SAVE AS: Rename your image make sure the image is saved as a jpg at the highest (maximum) image quality.
 SAVE: you do not have to rename the image at this point. Save often and regularly.

Nestle tools are stacked in each other to access those tools you have to left click and hold.

To turn an image go to
>Image>Image rotation

To crop
Select the cropping tool and then click and drag the area you want to crop. Before you crop, you must enter the resolution you want your image to be saved to.

Yearbook = 300
Newspaper = 150
Web = 72

I like the way this magazine looks because their portrait cover has on it  interesting things that catch your attention like the color and the subtitles, for a women is easy to buy it really quick. They used a model or artist and themes that any women want to know about it. The lighting is great because you can see so clear the lines is easy to read and the composition is magnificent. this magazine communicated to the whole people that fashion is important and beauty also so they give advise about it.

1-Selling line: it is to show the time of selling the magazine.
2-cover lines: this are like a subtitles that show you what other themes are inside of the magazine.
3-bar code: this we used to see how much it cost on stores.
4-masthead: it is the name of the magazine.
5-dateline: it is to put the date when this magazine went to sell.
6-main image: it is the image that mostly people are attracted to.
7-model credit: this is for put the name of the model to show who she or he is.
8-coverline: it is one of the most important themes on the magazine.
9-main cover line: this is to put the central theme on the magazine.

1- My best ISO to use on my portraits was 1600 ISO.

2- The next best photo was the ISO 3200.

Year in review 2013.

The subject of matter in this photo was to feel interesting and astonishment. Some examples was because it has different types of exposures for example it is blurry on the background and has light on the bottom and on the top is dark also because on the central point of view is clear and with light. The techniques that the photographer use in this photo are landscape composition because the photographer want to take the shot were he want to make the central point.

The subject of matter in this photo was to feel tranquility and curiosity. It is because has a rule of composition called rule of thirds it makes interest the photo. The exposure was blurry because we can't see clear every subject  on the photo and is a little dark.

The subject of matter in this photo was to feel astonishment, fear, and nervous. It is because it has differents rules of composition, for example has balance, leading línes, symmetry and patterns, a little depht. The exposure is blurry on the back and in front is clear.

1- This holidays was an amazing days because I went to Monterrey N.L. Mexico like all my vacations but this time I knew new people new friend, I hang out with friends I eat all kind of delicious food and I sow my family too.

2- My resolutions for 2014 is to get a new job with better pay of course, get a car and try to be optimist on everything I want to do.

3- I looking forward to finish my studies in a good conditions, an try to do things better.
